  Gary Beeson of recreation district 2-3 has done a horrible job of my neighborhood park in Buquet subdivision. Years ago it contained swings, a basketball court, playground , walking track and wide open field. Now it is an enclosure with racist graffitti and garbage. It is difficult to get a bicycle or stroller passed the front gate.
  Yet district 2-3 has the nerve to dedicate over $20 million dollars to a behemoth only serves for developers. It is set to be built on highway 311 which is already a traffic problem for the parish. If I want to bring my kids to a park, I have to leave my neighborhood.
